HighLevel for trades.

HighLevel (also known as GoHighLevel) puts your calls, texts, email, calendar, quotes and reviews in one place, and runs the follow-up for you. I have written a free starter kit for 12 trades: the pipeline, the quote form, six automations and every text and email, ready to paste in. Pick your trade and set it up in an afternoon.

The kits

Pick your trade.

Every kit has the same four parts, written for that trade: the pipeline, the quote request form, six automations with every message, and the order to set it all up.

HighLevel for roofing companies

Storm calls come in all at once. After a storm the phone rings faster than anyone can answer. A missed-call text holds the job until you can call back.

What HighLevel is

One login for every lead, job and review.

HighLevel is best known among marketing agencies, and its Starter plan is aimed at smaller businesses. For a trade business, the value is simple: no lead goes unanswered, no quote is forgotten and every happy customer is asked for a review, without anyone doing it by hand.

  • One inbox for calls, texts, email and Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp messages.
  • Online booking calendars with confirmations and reminders.
  • A pipeline that shows every job from first call to finished.
  • Forms, websites and landing pages.
  • Estimates, invoices and card payments.
  • Review requests, so every happy customer is asked.
  • Workflows that text, email and update records for you.
  • Built-in AI steps that summarise, translate and draft replies.

How the kits work

Three steps, about two hours.

  1. Start a free HighLevel trial. 14 days on any plan, so you can build and test the whole kit before you pay anything.
  2. Follow your trade’s kit. Create the pipeline and the form, then build the six workflows by name and paste in the messages. It is not a one-click import: you build it, so you know exactly what every automation does.
  3. Test it with your own phone, then switch it on. Call your number, fill in your form and book yourself in. When every text and email arrives, publish the workflows.

Texting customers? Texting customers needs their consent. In the US, HighLevel requires your number to be registered for business texting (A2P 10DLC) before texts go out; registration has its own fee and approval time, so start it on day one.

What it costs

The kits are free. HighLevel has a free trial.

HighLevel offers a 14-day free trial on every plan. After the trial, the Starter plan is $97 a month. Texts, calls and emails are billed by usage on top, and billing starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel. (HighLevel’s pricing page, checked 17 October 2026.)

Current prices are always on HighLevel’s pricing page.

Questions

Good questions, straight answers.

Is HighLevel the same as GoHighLevel?

Yes. The company calls itself HighLevel, and its website is gohighlevel.com, so many people know it as GoHighLevel or GHL. It is the same product.

Is this HighLevel’s website?

No. I am an independent HighLevel affiliate and developer. These kits are mine; HighLevel did not write or review them.

Why are the kits free?

If you start a HighLevel trial through my link and stay on, HighLevel may pay me a commission. The kits are free either way, and they work the same whether you use my link or not.

I already use HighLevel. Is a kit still useful?

Yes. The pipeline, the six workflows and every message work in an existing account; build them in the sub-account you use for your business.

What does HighLevel cost?

HighLevel offers a 14-day free trial on every plan. After the trial, the Starter plan is $97 a month. Texts, calls and emails are billed by usage on top, and billing starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel. (HighLevel’s pricing page, checked 17 October 2026.)

Do I need to be technical?

No. Each kit names every trigger and step exactly as HighLevel shows it, and every message is written out ready to paste. If you can fill in a form, you can build it.

Can HighLevel replace my field-service software?

Probably not on its own. HighLevel is a marketing and follow-up system: it answers leads, follows up quotes and asks for reviews. If you need dispatching, job costing or technician timesheets, you will want a field-service tool as well, and plenty of trades run both.
