The gap it closes

The two testimonial apps most sites reach for sit at 2.7★ and 2.9★ across five hundred reviews, and the reviews repeat the same faults: testimonials lost when the widget was moved to another page, a free plan that shows two of them, submissions published with no moderation, and a mobile view that printed customers’ email addresses.

Testimonials Wall stores every testimonial in your own site’s collections, where no widget change can reach it. Add as many as you like on the free plan. Visitors can send theirs through a form on your page, and nothing appears until you have read and published it.

Emails are stored for you and never rendered. There are no imports from other review sites, because those are what break in every one-star review; paste them in or import a CSV and they stay yours.

How it works

Three steps, then it runs itself.

  1. 01

    Add testimonials

Type them into the dashboard, or on Business import a CSV with a name, the text and optionally a role, company, rating, date and photo address. A sample wall is created on the first visit so the page is never empty.

  2. 02

Put the wall on a page

Add the Testimonials Wall element from the editor, choose a layout (grid, one quote at a time, slider or masonry), the heading and the accent colour. On Business, add it again on another page and point it at a different wall or a single tag.

  3. 03

    Let visitors send theirs

On Pro, switch on the form. A button under the wall opens a short form with a consent line; every submission waits in your dashboard until you publish, hide or delete it.

How it behaves

The decisions that matter.

  • Removing the element never deletes a testimonial

Testimonials live in your site’s collections, not in the widget. Move it, delete it, redesign the page; the testimonials are still in your dashboard.

  • Nothing is published without you

A visitor’s submission is stored as waiting for approval. The page only ever shows testimonials you have marked published.

  • An email address is never shown

If you ask visitors for an email, it is stored for you and left out of everything the page receives. There is no setting that can expose it.

  • Text is never treated as markup

Every name and testimonial is written to the page as text, and the optional Review structured data escapes anything that could close a script tag.

  • A failure says so

If the wall cannot be loaded, the element says testimonials are unavailable. It never renders as an empty wall, which would hide a fault from you.

  • One permission, and only one

The app asks to read your plan and basic site info. It never reads contacts, members, orders or any other site data.

Everything it touches, stated plainly.

Installing & getting started

  1. Add Testimonials Wall to your Wix site from the App Market and approve the permissions listed below.
  2. Open it from your site dashboard under Apps. It adds the Testimonials Wall element (editor widget, any page) / Dashboard page.
  3. Follow the three steps above. The free tier covers unlimited hand-entered testimonials on one wall, the grid and one-quote layouts, every design control, and CSV export, so you can prove it works before paying.
  4. Stuck? Email [email protected] — two business days response.

Permissions, and why each one

SCOPE.DEV_CENTER.APP-INSTANCE-READ-BASIC-INFO
Read which plan the site is on, so Pro and Business features unlock. This is the only permission the app asks for.

What is stored, and where

  • Your walls and testimonials (name, role, company, photo address, rating, text, date, tags, status) are stored in collections inside your own site.
  • When a visitor submits a testimonial, the app stores what they typed: their name, the testimonial, and, if you ask for them, a role, company, rating and email address. They tick a consent line before sending. The email is for you and is never served to the page. Visitors can ask you to remove a testimonial and you delete it in the dashboard.
  • The app sets no cookies and collects nothing from visitors who do not use the form. Submissions are capped per hour to blunt abuse, and a hidden field catches automated senders.
  • Nothing is copied to any server of ours; the app runs on Wix’s infrastructure and calls only Wix APIs. Uninstalling removes the app’s collections.

Questions people ask.

Can it import my Google or Facebook reviews?

No, and it does not pretend to. Those imports are what breaks in the incumbent apps’ reviews. Paste the testimonials you have permission to show, or import a CSV on Business.

Will the reviews show as stars in Google results?

Pro can add schema.org Review markup, which describes the page accurately. Google does not show star snippets for reviews a business publishes about itself, so the app does not promise that.

What happens to a visitor’s email address?

It is stored with the submission for you to see in the dashboard and is never included in what the page loads. You can switch the email field off entirely.

Can I choose the order?

Yes. Order them yourself with Up and Down, or show newest or oldest first. Featured testimonials always come first and get an outline.

Does the free plan really have no limit?

You can add as many as you like on one wall, up to a technical ceiling of 2,000, with the grid and one-quote layouts and every design control. It never expires.

Put Testimonials Wall on your site.

Add it, use the free plan on a real site, and only pay once it has earned it.
