The gap it closes
There are four of these on the App Market and the free plans are the story. Staff Members (4.3★, the best rated of them) gives away three people and one of its nine templates, then charges $5.52 a month for the other eight templates and for a fourth member of staff; its one low review is, in full, “sucks — YOU HAVE to pay”. Team Members has no free plan at all — seven days, then $6.90 a month. Team Profile by POWR gives away four entries with POWR’s own branding on them and charges $3.58 a month to take the branding off, $7.73 for twenty-five entries and $14.65 for an unlimited number; its only review is “FREE plan is misleading — the free option is only free for 3 days. Should be listed as Free TRIAL”.
The one-star review on Team Members is not about pricing at all. It is a feature request, and it is the most ordinary thing a team page needs: “Can you improve your service and add a Read More Option”. A directory that cannot hold a biography longer than a sentence and a half is a photograph with a caption, and the moment somebody writes a real one the layout either breaks or truncates it with nowhere to go.
The highest-rated of the four, Team by PurpleBear, is priced outside the App Market — three days, then “from $7.5/mo” — and its best review is the whole market read in one line: it is “loads better than the Staff Members widget that Wix charges extra to use”. Nobody in this corner is competing on the free plan, so that is where this one competes.

Add the people
A photograph from your own media, a name, a role, a department, a location, pronouns, letters after the name, a one-line summary and a biography of any length. Email addresses, telephone numbers and links of any kind — LinkedIn, a portfolio, a booking page, anything. Only the name is ever required, and an empty field is simply not drawn.

Put the directory wherever you like
Drag the element onto any page. Four arrangements — a card grid, a photograph-led wall, rows with a Contact button, or names and roles only — with round, square, portrait or uncropped photographs, your own accent colour, and your own words for every label. Anybody without a photograph gets their initials, not a grey silhouette.

Let a visitor read the whole profile
A profile opens in a panel over the page, never on a page of its own — no page is created, nothing is added to your menu, nothing becomes a broken link. Contact hands the visitor to the address, number, page or link you chose. It runs in Wix Studio, the classic Wix Editor and Wix Harmony.

A Read more that actually opens
A biography can be as long as you like. The card shows a summary; the whole thing opens in a panel over the page, with the links, the contact details and the rest of the profile. It is the feature the one-star review on the app next door asked for and never got.

No badge on any plan, and never auto-added
No watermark and no “powered by”, on the free plan or any other. The app this replaces prints its own brand on your team’s faces and charges $3.58 a month to stop. This one appears only where you drag it, and creates no pages of its own.

It never receives a message
Contact hands a visitor to the address, telephone number, page or link you chose — five modes, with the address in readable text if you want it there. No form of ours, no mail server of ours, no lead record. That is exactly why it cannot stop working.

It is a directory, not an HR record
There is nowhere to put a home address, a salary, a date of birth or a national insurance number, because a widget that draws on a public web page is the wrong place for any of them. A joining date is published as a year only.

Nothing is stored about a visitor
No cookie, no local storage, no identifier. The only row a visitor’s action can ever write is one saying that a person’s Contact button was pressed, and only when you switch counting on — no name, no address, no message.

Nothing is fetched from anybody else

A department, a featured pin or a leaving date written on Pro stays in the row if a site drops to Free — the directory simply stops drawing it, and your dashboard says which and why. Nothing this app does ever deletes somebody’s profile.

What is stored, and where
- Your directory — photographs, names, roles, biographies, links, wording and design — is stored in collections inside your own site.
- Nothing about a visitor is stored. The only row a visitor can cause is one saying a person’s Contact button was pressed, written only when you have switched counting on, and holding no name, address or identifier of any kind.
- Nothing is written to a visitor’s browser: no cookie, no local storage.
- Uninstalling removes the app’s collections. Nothing else is touched.

Questions people ask.
How many people do I get for free?
Twelve, in one directory, with all four arrangements and every design control. The best free plan among the four apps that do this is three people and one template; one of them has no free plan at all. Twelve is enough for a real small firm, a partnership, a practice or a school department to have a finished team page and never pay anything.
Can somebody have a long biography?
Yes, and it is free. Write as much as you like — the card shows a one-line summary and a Read more, and the whole biography opens in a panel over the page along with their links and contact details. It does not create a page, it does not touch your menu, and it cannot become a broken link.
What happens to somebody with no photograph?
They get their initials in your accent colour, in the same shape as everybody else’s photograph — round, square, portrait or uncropped. No grey silhouette and no gap in the grid, so a directory looks finished before every photograph has been taken.
Does the Contact button send me an email?
No — and that is deliberate. It hands the visitor straight to the address, telephone number, page or link you chose, in whichever of the five modes you pick, and you can have the address shown in readable text as well. There is no form of ours and no mail server of ours in the middle, which is why it cannot quietly stop working.
Does it work on Wix Studio?
Yes. It is a custom element, so it runs on Wix Studio, the classic Wix Editor and Wix Harmony — the same app, the same settings panel. It was built and verified on a published Wix Studio site and on a published classic Wix site.
