The gap it closes
The menu app on this shelf is 4.0★ over 1,072 reviews, and the sharpest fact about it is in its own listing rather than its reviews. Its teaser is “Customizable, flexible three-level site menu”. Its free plan is “2 menu layouts · 2 pages icons · 1 social media icon”. Its $6.95-a-month plan is “Three-level menus · 15 menu layouts · Up to 600 page icons · 6 social media icons”. The thing it advertises itself as is the thing it charges for, and the two tiers are the same product rationed by a count.
It cannot be moved. Its own support, quoted verbatim in a three-star review, says the app “is a fixed position application and it can be placed on a site only within the allocated area. It’s a technical requirement and we can not change it.” Ten separate reviewers say some version of it: “Not movable — you should be able to drag it to a position you want” · “I cant move the app to where I want it on the header its either far left or far right” · “It also won’t let me place the menu anywhere on the page. It’s pointless.” One upgraded specifically to move it: “I UPGRADED TO PREMIUM IN ORDER TO RE-POSITION THE MENU … BUT IT STILL DOESNT RESPOND TO REPOSITIONING. IT CONTINUES TO SIT UP ON TOP OF THE REGULAR MENU, PARTIALLY OFF THE PAGE.”
And the most-voted review on the whole shelf is the simplest one: “Does not appear — It is often the case that the menu does not appear” (4 votes). Under it: “I paid for the premium menu, yet I can’t see displayed it on my website at all” · “looks and appears good in the Editor but does not show up on the actual website ever” · “Visible only on desktop, but not on cell phones, which makes it useless and meaningless” · “the app keeps duplicating site menu’s. I currently have 3” · “It takes about 3 seconds before this loads on the page.”
Two more that decided what this app is. “Bait & Switch”, March 2025: “It allowed me to choose a lot of the free items to set up. For some reason, a week went by, and now I noticed my menu looked different. I see in the app that the selections that used to be free to use are now pay to access selections now. So now my site menu is all out of whack.” And the newest substantive one, June 2026, from a customer whose site is translated and whose navigation is translated: “cette traduction ne semble pas possible … alors que mon multilingue est activé et toute ma navigation traduite, le module n’en tient pas compte.”
The rest of the shelf charges for the same counts. The nearest rival gives away “1 mega menu · 2 templates · Upto 3 columns · PURPLE branding” and charges $5.57 a month to remove its own name. A third gives four styles and three items free and charges $12.53 for the rest. A fourth bills on its own website at $8.70, $20.89 and $54.31 a month. A fifth has no free plan at all. And six of the twelve phrases a buyer types — dropdown menu, site navigation, header menu, sticky header, hamburger menu, breadcrumbs — return nothing real whatsoever.

A page in your own dashboard, with the whole menu as a tree you can move around: add an item, nest it under another, move it up, move it down, give it an icon, a small label like “Sale”, and a line of description that shows inside a panel. No cap on how many items, how deep they go, or how many columns a panel has.

It is an ordinary element. Drag it where you like, stretch it, resize it, put it in your header so it shows on every page, or on one page only, or in a sidebar. Put it in as many places as you like — every placement reads the same menu, so one change reaches all of them, and a placement can start at any branch.

A bar with mega panels, a bar with simple dropdowns, a side list, or a drawer — all four free. Panels open on hover or on a press, and never on hover on a device that cannot hover, so a phone does not follow a link and open a panel in the same tap.

Not a button in a script. Every item is written into your page as an ordinary anchor with a real address, so it can be followed, opened in a new tab, copied, and read by a search engine — which is not true of a menu that lives only inside a shadow root.

It becomes a drawer on a phone, measured properly
The switch is on the width of the element, not the width of the screen — because a phone page is drawn in a 980-pixel window, so anything measured against the screen is wrong on a telephone. Measured at 390 pixels on a published page: the bar hidden, the drawer button showing, the whole three-level menu inside it, and no horizontal scrolling.

A panel never hangs off the edge of your page
A wide panel under the last item in the bar — which is nearly always Contact — is pulled back inside the page, and its little arrow moves with it so it still points at the item it belongs to. This is the thing the whole shelf gets wrong.

What is stored, and where
- Your menu — every item, address, icon, label, wording and design choice — is stored in a collection inside your own site, and is exportable to a CSV at any time on any plan.
- The app never reads your site’s page list. Every address is one you typed, which is why it can neither reveal a hidden page nor change one.
- Nothing is written to a visitor’s device: no cookie, no local storage, no session and no identifier.
- On Business, a press is one row saying which item on which menu was pressed, and when — with no visitor identifier of any kind. The call is made so that it can never delay the link.
- Uninstalling removes the app’s collections. Nothing else on your site is touched.

As many as your site needs, on every plan including the free one. The app this replaces advertises itself as a “flexible three-level site menu” and puts the third level in its $6.95-a-month plan.
Can I put it where I want it?

Can a search engine follow the links?
Yes. Every item is written into your page as an ordinary anchor with a real address, and the menu also emits SiteNavigationElement structured data into the page itself. A menu that lives only inside a shadow root is invisible to a crawler.
Does it read my site’s pages?
No, and that is deliberate. You type each address, so the app cannot show a page you have hidden, cannot rename or delete one, and cannot add anything to your site. It is also why its install screen asks for one thing.
Can I have a different menu on different parts of the site?
Yes, on Pro. You can also point any placement at a single branch of one menu — the Shop branch as a sidebar on the shop pages, the whole thing as a bar at the top — and that costs nothing, on any plan.
My site is dark. Will it be readable?
Yes. By default the menu paints no background of its own and takes its text colour from your page, so it reads correctly on a dark site and a light one without your setting anything. Explicit light and dark themes are available too, and every colour control is free.
What happens if I stop using the app?
Your menu is an ordinary row in your own site’s data, exportable to a CSV at any time, on any plan. Nothing of yours is held anywhere else.
Does it work on Wix Studio?
Yes. It is a custom element, so it runs on Wix Studio, the classic Wix Editor and Wix Harmony — the same app and the same settings panel. It was built and verified on a published Wix Studio page and on a published classic Wix page. This matters more here than usual: the App Market record of the app it replaces carries the tag exclude-from-studio, so a Wix Studio site cannot install that app at all, and one of its reviewers says exactly that.
