You’ve read the objection everywhere: “WooCommerce invoicing plugins aren’t compliant — use a certified SaaS.” That misses how the réforme actually works.
The reform never asks your store to be the legal transmitter. That job belongs to a Plateforme Agréée (PA), and it always will. What your store has to do is produce structured invoices in the right formats, with the buyer’s SIREN on them, and feed them to your PA. Facture Électronique is exactly that pipe: it turns each WooCommerce order into a legal e-invoice and hands it off. Réception becomes mandatory on 1 September 2026; issuance and B2C e-reporting on 1 September 2027 — dates re-confirmed in 2026.
How it works
Two jobs, done properly.
Job one · The legal document
Turn each order into an invoice a Plateforme Agréée will accept
The 2026-2027 reform does not want a PDF for a human to read — it wants a structured e-invoice. Facture Électronique generates every order in the three legal “socle” formats every Plateforme Agréée must accept: Factur-X (PDF/A-3 with embedded CII XML, EN 16931 profile), UBL 2.1, and CII XML. The embedded CII is validated against the official Factur-X XSD at the moment it is written, so a malformed invoice never leaves your store.
- Factur-X, UBL 2.1 and CII — the three formats every Plateforme Agréée must accept.
- Validated against the official Factur-X XSD as the invoice is written.
- Sequential, gap-free numbering, safe under concurrent checkouts.

Job two · The data behind it
Capture the buyer’s SIREN where the order actually happens
A compliant B2B invoice needs the buyer’s SIREN and, when relevant, their intra-community VAT number — captured at checkout, not chased down afterwards. It adds customer-type, SIREN and TVA fields to BOTH the classic checkout and the new block checkout, validates the SIREN’s Luhn key and the VAT number against it locally, and stores everything HPOS-safe on the order. None of it is sent anywhere.
- Works on the classic checkout and the new block checkout.
- SIREN Luhn-key checked and the VAT number cross-checked against it — locally.
- Stored HPOS-safe on the order; nothing is sent to a third party.

Your server, full stop
Generation, XSD validation, numbering, exports and the e-reporting extract make no external requests at all. Your customers’ SIREN and TVA are validated locally and sent nowhere.
Honest about scope
This is not a Plateforme Agréée and does not transmit to the PPF. It gives no tax, legal or accounting advice. Your PA stays legally responsible for transmission; choosing and registering with one remains yours.
Built for the real deadlines
1 Sept 2026 for réception, 1 Sept 2027 for émission and B2C e-reporting. The readiness checklist tracks them — including the steps you take outside WordPress, like choosing your PA.
In the free build
The free build is the whole engine.
No locked features, no metered exports. Everything the reform asks a store to produce, the free plugin produces.

Readiness checklist
The real deadlines in one place — including the steps you have to take outside WordPress, like choosing and registering with a PA.
Free vs Pro
Pro automates the hand-off.
The free build already produces every document the reform requires. Pro is about not touching them by hand: each invoice is generated the moment an order completes and pushed straight to your Plateforme Agréée.

Questions people ask.
Does this make my store compliant with the réforme?
No plugin can, by itself, guarantee compliance — and this one is honest about that. What it does is generate your invoices in the legal formats (Factur-X / UBL / CII), capture your professional customers’ SIREN, number everything sequentially, and prepare your e-reporting. The legal transmission stays with your Plateforme Agréée: choose one with your accountant (deadline 1 September 2026 for réception).
I already use a PDF invoice plugin — do I need this?
PDF invoice plugins produce documents for humans. The 2026-2027 reform requires STRUCTURED e-invoices (Factur-X / UBL / CII) that carry the buyer’s SIREN and are routed through a Plateforme Agréée — plus e-reporting of your B2C sales. That structured pipeline is what this plugin builds; a human-readable PDF on its own does not meet it.
Is the Factur-X output actually valid?
The embedded CII XML is validated against the official Factur-X XSD at generation time, so it cannot be silently malformed. Validate your first document with your PA’s ingest test or the FNFE-MPE validator before you rely on it; the plain UBL and CII XML outputs are legally valid on every Plateforme Agréée as well.
Does the free version phone home?
No. The plugin’s own features — generation, validation, numbering, exports and the e-reporting extract — make no external requests at all. The bundled Freemius SDK (which powers the optional paid upgrade) only contacts Freemius in a few situations you click through yourself, each one documented in the readme’s “External services” section, never in the background.
What happens to my invoices if I uninstall?
Nothing — the generated documents stay in their folder under wp-content/uploads (invoices are legal records you must retain for ten years). Uninstalling only removes the plugin’s own settings and internal tables.
